15.01.2027 Kristof Hahn, TMW, Klaus Helljäger

Another gathering in the cellar!

This time, we welcome what we consider to be the most notorious avant garde lap steel guitar player ever:

Kristof Hahn of the mighty Swans!

Kristof joined the band in 1989 for the Burning World tour and played on the subsequent album White Light from the Mouth of Infinity, remaining a constant member of Swans ever since. He was also part of Michael Gira’s
The Angels of Light.

His solo work shifts between crushing drones, tender folk tunes, and opressing atmospheres.

Opening the evening, we have Klaus Helljäger, who will be reading eerie tales from the hills and forests of Mühlviertel. “Aus den tiefen der Wälder”

Afterwards, we’ll have TMW, a new dark ambient project from the mind behind Wurzelwind and one half of Cathedral Drowning.
